Ecdysterone (20-Hydroxyecdysone)

(2b,3b,5b,22R)-2,3,14,20,22,25-hexahydroxycholest-7-en-6-one

Ecdysterone, or 20-hydroxyecdysone, is a phytoecdysteroid, chemically a hydroxylated sterol with the molecular formula C27H44O7 and a molecular weight of 480.63 (CAS 5289-74-7). It is supplied as a plant extract, from sources such as Cyanotis arachnoidea or spinach, standardized to a high 20-hydroxyecdysone content, typically 90-95%. It carries one fewer oxygen atom than the related turkesterone, offered as a separate family, giving it a lower molecular weight. It is supplied as a powdered extract. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder formats.
