Baikal Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) root extract, standardised by HPLC to the flavone glycoside baicalin, commonly at 85-95%, with baicalein (the corresponding aglycone) grades also supplied. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native root matrix rather than a single compound purified to isolate grade. The root has a long history of use in traditional Chinese herbal practice. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
