Black ginger (Kaempferia parviflora), also known as Thai black ginger or krachai dam, supplied as a rhizome extract standardised to 5% polymethoxyflavones (PMFs), its characteristic flavonoid markers. It is a whole-plant extract rather than a single isolated compound, botanically distinct from culinary ginger (Zingiber officinale), and it has a long history of traditional use in Thailand. It is produced as a dry powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
