Bupleurum (Bupleurum chinense) root extract, standardised to the triterpene saponins known as saikosaponins, commonly at 5-10%. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native root matrix rather than a single compound purified from the plant. The root has a long history of use in traditional Chinese herbal practice. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
