Butterbur (Petasites hybridus), the root and rhizome, supplied as a standardised dry extract. It is standardised by HPLC to 15% petasins (petasin and isopetasin) and is processed to remove pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA-free), in line with the established commercial grade. It is a whole-root extract rather than an isolated sesquiterpene. It is supplied as a dry powder. We produce it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
