Capsaicin is the principal capsaicinoid of chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum) fruit, supplied as an isolated single compound at 95% or higher purity by HPLC (CAS 404-86-4, C18H27NO3, molecular weight 305.41). Rather than a whole-fruit capsicum extract that retains a native matrix, it is the purified pungent molecule itself with a defined chemical identity. It is presented as a fine defined-compound powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder dosage formats.
