Gastrodin is the principal phenolic glucoside of Gastrodia elata rhizome, known in traditional Chinese practice as tian ma, supplied as an isolated single compound at 98% or higher purity by HPLC (CAS 62499-27-8, C13H18O7, molecular weight 286.28). Unlike the Gastrodia elata rhizome extract standardised to a lower gastrodin percentage, this grade is the purified single molecule. It is presented as a fine defined-compound powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder dosage formats.
