German chamomile (Matricaria recutita, syn. Matricaria chamomilla), the dried flower heads, supplied as a standardised dry extract. It is standardised by HPLC to 1.2% apigenin, the principal flavone marker of the flower, and carries the native flavonoid profile of the species along with the characteristic alpha-bisabolol of the volatile fraction. It is a whole-flower extract rather than an isolated compound. It is supplied as a dry powder. We produce it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
