Grains of Paradise (Aframomum melegueta) seed extract, standardised by HPLC to the pungent constituent 6-paradol, commonly at 12.5%. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native seed matrix rather than a single compound purified from the plant. The seed, a member of the ginger family, has a long history of culinary and traditional use in West Africa. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
