Guggul (Commiphora mukul) gum-resin extract, standardised by HPLC to the guggulsterones E and Z, commonly at 2.5-10%. It is a whole-plant botanical extract (an oleo-gum-resin concentrate) that retains the native resin matrix rather than a single compound purified from the plant. The resin has a long history of use in Ayurvedic herbal tradition. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
