Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) calyx extract, an anthocyanin- and organic-acid-bearing botanical supplied on a native drug-to-extract ratio such as 4:1 or 10:1. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native calyx matrix rather than a single compound purified from the plant. The dried calyx, also called roselle, has a long history of use as a traditional beverage. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
