Honokiol is a biphenol neolignan of magnolia (Magnolia officinalis) bark, supplied as an isolated single compound at 98% or higher purity by HPLC (CAS 35354-74-6, C18H18O2, molecular weight 266.33). Unlike the magnolia bark extract standardised to total honokiol and magnolol, this grade is the single purified honokiol molecule, and it is a structural isomer of magnolol. It is presented as a fine defined-compound powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder dosage formats.
