Peppermint Oil (Enteric-Coating Grade, Menthol-Standardised)

Mentha x piperita essential oil

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) essential oil, obtained by steam distillation of the aerial parts and standardised by GC to a menthol content of 30 to 55 per cent. Unlike the 4:1 leaf extract in this family, it is the volatile oil fraction rather than a dry extract, and is supplied as an enteric-coating grade for delayed-release formats. It is supplied as a liquid oil. We produce it in capsule (softgel) and liquid dosage formats.
