Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis) leaf extract, a naturally caffeine-bearing botanical standardised by HPLC to caffeine, commonly in the 2-8% range, with chlorogenic acids also present. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native leaf matrix rather than caffeine isolated as a single compound. The leaf has a long history of use as a traditional South American beverage. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
