This is Sopharma's Bulgarian-sourced extract of the aerial parts (herba) of Tribulus terrestris (puncture vine), a branded defined-composition dry extract rather than an isolate. It is standardized to approximately 60% total steroidal saponins of the furostanol type, with protodioscin as the marker compound, and is supplied at 250 mg of dry aerial-parts extract per tablet. On total-saponin level it sits between the generic 40% and 90% fruit grades, and like the protodioscin-standardized grade it tracks the furostanol and protodioscin marker, but it is drawn from herba rather than fruit and carries a fixed branded specification. It is provided as a dry aerial-parts extract. We manufacture it into tablets and capsules.
