Micronized Sucralose is the same trichlorinated sucrose derivative as the standard grade, chemically 1,6-dichloro-1,6-dideoxy-β-D-fructofuranosyl-4-chloro-4-deoxy-α-D-galactopyranoside (CAS 56038-13-2, EC 259-952-2, C12H19Cl3O8, molecular weight 397.6), produced synthetically by selective chlorination of sucrose and supplied to USP/EP grade. It is processed to a reduced particle size for uniform dispersion in dry blends, distinguishing it physically from the coarser standard crystalline powder. Unlike the liquid concentrate it is a dry solid, and unlike the maltodextrin blend it is the neat active without a bulking carrier. We manufacture this fine-particle grade into capsules, tablets and powders.
