French maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) bark extract. This is a generic bulk grade standardized to >=85% proanthocyanidins (OPC) by UV, positioned one step below the >=95% grade on guaranteed marker content. It is a whole standardized extract defined by a minimum marker percentage, distinct from the branded fixed-range grades (Pycnogenol, Oligopin) and from the unstandardized ratio concentrate and whole-bark powder in this family. Commonly traded as a bulk material, it is a fine reddish- to tan-brown powder in physical form. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets and powders.
