FDA-registratie betekent geen FDA-goedkeuring, en productiedocumentatie kan naleving van EU- of andere marktspecifieke vereisten ondersteunen, maar niet garanderen. De merkeigenaar en, waar van toepassing, de importeur blijven verantwoordelijk voor product, etikettering, claims en marktverplichtingen.
