Black elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.), fruit. This grade is a spray-dried fruit extract standardized to 5% anthocyanins, calculated as cyanidin-3-glucoside by UV-Vis, and represents the common bulk trade level. It is a lower-concentration whole extract rather than a purified high-marker fraction like the 25% grade, and it is fixed to a defined anthocyanin percentage instead of an extraction ratio as the 10:1 material is. Physically it is a free-flowing spray-dried powder. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets, gummies, powders, and liquids.
