Traceability and origin

Traceability is the ability to follow any finished lot back through its complete production history: the raw-material lots it was made from, their suppliers and country of origin, and the batch records at each step. It is what lets you answer a customer query, a customs question or a recall, quickly and with evidence.

What a traceability record covers

  • The batch or lot number of the finished product, and the date it was made

  • The raw-material lots used, linked to their own supplier lot numbers

  • Country of manufacture and the origin of the key raw materials

  • The manufacturing site and the in-process records for that run

  • A forward and backward link, from raw material to finished lot and back

When you get it

Provided on request for a given batch, so your quality, customs and due-diligence work has a documented chain from raw material to finished lot, including where each material originated.
