Benolea (EFLA 943) is a branded standardized dry extract of olive tree (Olea europaea) leaf produced by IFF Health using its EFLA HyperPure process. Unlike the plain 20% and 40% grades, which are fixed on oleuropein alone, it is standardized to approximately 30% total polyphenols with oleuropein specified as a 16 to 24% range, so it is characterized on a broader polyphenol basis. It remains a full-matrix leaf extract rather than an isolated single compound such as oleuropein or hydroxytyrosol. It is supplied as a dry-extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder formats.
