Rhodiola rosea (roseroot) dried root and rhizome, cleaned and milled to a whole-herb powder. Unlike every extract grade in this family, it is non-concentrated and carries no marker standardization, retaining only the rosavin and salidroside content native to the raw root rather than an assayed percentage. It is the base botanical feedstock from which the standardized 3%, 5%, and branded extracts are produced, and it is distinct from both the ratio-standardized extracts and the salidroside isolate. Physically it is a tan to brown milled powder. We manufacture it in capsules, tablets, and bulk powder.
