Sodium Molybdate (Anhydrous)

Disodium molybdate

Sodium molybdate anhydrous is the water-free form of disodium molybdate (CAS 7631-95-0, Na2MoO4, molecular weight 205.92), an inorganic salt in which molybdenum sits as the hexavalent molybdate anion. It is manufactured from mineral molybdenum feedstock and dried to remove the water of crystallisation present in the dihydrate. Because it carries no bound water, it has a higher molybdenum density of roughly 46.6% Mo against the dihydrate's ~39.7%, while sharing the same fully oxidised molybdate chemistry and remaining an inorganic salt rather than the organic glycinate chelate or citrate complex. Supplied as a white crystalline powder, we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder blends and dry premixes.
