Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa)

Corosolic Acid 98%

Corosolic acid (pentacyclic triterpene)

Corosolic acid is a pentacyclic triterpene acid of banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa) leaf, supplied as an isolated single compound at 98% or higher purity by HPLC (CAS 4547-24-4, C30H48O4, molecular weight 472.70). Unlike the banaba leaf extract standardised to 1 to 2% corosolic acid, this grade is the purified molecule at high single-compound purity, structurally close to ursolic acid with an added hydroxyl group. It is presented as a fine defined-compound powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder dosage formats.
