Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa) leaf extract, standardised by HPLC to the triterpene corosolic acid, commonly at 1-2%. It is a whole-plant botanical extract that retains the native leaf matrix rather than corosolic acid isolated as a single compound. The leaf has a long history of traditional herbal use in the Philippines and South-East Asia. It is supplied as a dry powder, and we manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
