Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG 1:1)

L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (1:1); L-arginine 2-oxopentanedioate

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate 1:1 (AAKG) is a 1:1 salt of L-arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid (CAS 16856-18-1), formula C11H20N4O7, molecular weight 320.30. The fermentation-derived arginine is paired with a single equivalent of alpha-ketoglutarate to form a defined crystalline salt. Because it carries one alpha-ketoglutarate per arginine rather than one per two arginines, its arginine fraction is lower than that of the 2:1 AAKG grade. We supply it in powder, capsule and tablet formats.
