French maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) bark extract. This is Oligopin, a branded extract (DRT) standardized to 65-75% oligomeric procyanidins and specifically enriched in the low-molecular-weight OPC fraction. Like Pycnogenol it is a whole standardized extract defined by a procyanidin range rather than an isolate or a fixed drug-to-extract ratio, but it is differentiated by its selective concentration of the shorter-chain oligomers rather than the full procyanidin distribution. Its defined marker band sits below the generic 85% and >=95% OPC grades. It is supplied as a fine, largely water-soluble powder that we manufacture into capsules, tablets and powders.
