French maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) bark, milled. This is the base botanical raw material: dried, milled whole bark with no concentration step and no marker standardization applied. Unlike every other member of the family it is neither a water or solvent extract, a marker-standardized OPC grade, a fixed-ratio concentrate, nor an isolated compound; it is the unextracted feedstock from which the standardized pine bark extracts are produced. It is supplied as a coarse-to-fine milled brown bark powder, which we manufacture into capsules and standalone powders.
