Panax ginseng (Asian or Korean ginseng, Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) supplied as the dried root, cleaned and milled to a powder without solvent extraction. This is a 1:1 native, non-concentrated material that carries the root's naturally occurring total ginsenoside content of roughly 1 to 3 percent, in contrast to the family's concentrated extracts that enrich the ginsenoside fraction. It uses the root rather than the stem-and-leaf aerial material of the 80 percent ginsenoside extract, and it remains a whole botanical rather than an isolated single ginsenoside such as Rg3. Physical form is a milled tan-to-brown powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, and powder formats.
