Bilberry Extract (36% Anthocyanins, HPLC)

Vaccinium myrtillus (fruit) extract

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) fruit datasheet grade standardized to 36% anthocyanins by HPLC, corresponding to approximately 25% expressed as anthocyanidins. The distinction from our 25% UV grade is analytical method rather than a wholly different pigment load: the HPLC figure reflects anthocyanins assayed as intact glycosides, while the UV grade reports the aglycone-calculated value. Like the other standardized grades it is a whole-fruit extract concentrated on its anthocyanin content, and unlike the 4:1 concentrate and fruit powder it carries a fixed HPLC marker specification rather than a native ratio. It is a deep purple, free-flowing extract powder manufactured into capsules, tablets, softgels and bulk powder blends.
