6-Gingerol, the isolated principal pungent phenolic constituent of ginger (Zingiber officinale) rhizome (CAS 23513-14-6, C17H26O4, MW 294.39). It is purified to a single defined compound at 98% or higher by HPLC, which distinguishes it from the family's whole extracts and the gingerol-standardized oleoresin that retain the full constituent matrix. As an isolate it carries a defined molecular identity rather than a marker percentage of a mixture. Physically it is a fine off-white to pale-yellow crystalline powder. We manufacture it into powder and capsule formats.
