Turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome curcumin dispersed in a solid lipid curcumin particle matrix (Longvida SLCP, Verdure Sciences), assaying approximately 20 to 26% curcumin. It is delivered as a lipid-particle formulation rather than a plain curcuminoid powder: distinct from the 95% and C3 free-curcuminoid extracts and from the BCM-95 native-oil composite, and distinct from Meriva in that the carrier is a solid-lipid particle system incorporating lecithin rather than a phospholipid phytosome complex. Contains soy, from soy-derived lecithin used as a formulation component. Supplied as a lipid-matrix granulate powder. Manufactured into capsules, softgels and bulk powder.
