Turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome curcuminoids bound to lecithin-derived phospholipids to form a defined phytosome complex (Meriva, Indena) assaying approximately 18 to 20% curcuminoids. The curcuminoid loading is lower than the curcuminoid-only extracts because the phospholipid carrier makes up much of the mass; technically it is a lecithin-phospholipid complex rather than a free-curcuminoid concentrate like the 95% or C3 grades, and it uses an added phospholipid carrier rather than the native turmeric oil of BCM-95 or the solid-lipid particles of Longvida. Contains soy, from the lecithin-derived phospholipid. Supplied as a free-flowing complexed powder. Produced in capsules, tablets and bulk powder.
