Manganese Aspartate

Manganese(II) L-aspartate

Manganese aspartate is the manganese(II) salt of the amino acid L-aspartic acid (C8H12MnN2O8), produced synthetically. It carries roughly 17% elemental manganese, a mid-range load within the family, above the gluconate and ascorbate but below the citrate and the higher-load inorganic salts. Unlike bisglycinate, which is a fully-reacted glycine chelate, the aspartate is the manganese salt of aspartic acid. The material is a powder with manganese in the divalent +2 oxidation state. We manufacture it in tablet and capsule formats.
