Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN)

Nicotinamide mononucleotide is the 5'-phosphorylated nucleotide of nicotinamide riboside, chemically 3-carbamoyl-1-(5-O-phosphono-beta-D-ribofuranosyl)pyridin-1-ium inner salt (CAS 1094-61-7, C11H15N2O8P, molecular weight 334.22). It is produced by chemical or enzymatic synthesis and assayed to 95-99% of the beta-anomer by HPLC. It differs from nicotinamide riboside chloride by carrying a 5'-phosphate group and existing as a zwitterionic inner salt rather than a chloride salt, which raises its molecular weight, and it stands one step further along the NAD biosynthetic sequence as an NAD+ intermediate. We supply it as a powder and manufacture it into capsules, tablets and powders.
