Oleuropein is the characteristic secoiridoid glycoside marker of olive tree (Olea europaea) leaf, here supplied as an isolated single compound at 98% or higher purity by HPLC (CAS 32619-42-4, C25H32O13, molecular weight 540.51 g/mol). Rather than a whole-leaf extract standardized to a marker percentage, it is the purified molecule itself, which distinguishes it from the 20%, 40% and Benolea leaf-extract grades that carry a native matrix. It is the larger glycoside from which the smaller phenylethanoid hydroxytyrosol derives on hydrolysis. The material is a fine defined-compound powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder formats.
