Zinc Gluconate

Zinc D-gluconate

Zinc gluconate, chemically zinc D-gluconate, is the zinc salt of gluconic acid (CAS 4468-02-4). It is an organic-acid salt produced synthetically to USP and food-grade specifications, distinct from the inorganic oxide and sulfate forms and from the amino-acid chelates. At roughly 14.3% elemental zinc it carries the lowest elemental load of the common zinc forms in this family, well below zinc oxide and the mid-range chelates. It dissolves readily in water and is supplied as a white to near-white powder, which we manufacture in tablet, capsule, liquid, gummy and powder formats.
