Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.) root and rhizome, processed into a concentrated dry extract. This grade is defined by a 4:1 native extract ratio, roughly four kilograms of root and rhizome reduced to one kilogram of extract, rather than by a fixed marker percentage. It is a whole native extract, not an isolate, and sits at a lower concentration than the family's 10:1 grade while carrying no HPLC valerenic-acids specification like the 0.8% marker grade. The material is a brown dry-extract powder, offered in conventional and organic forms. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets, and powder blends.
