A proprietary natural flavour system encapsulated by spray drying onto a maltodextrin and gum acacia carrier, typically at a 10 to 20 percent flavour load, with no single defined molecule or CAS number. The liquid flavour is emulsified with the carbohydrate and gum carrier and then spray dried into a free-flowing powder. Compared with the water-soluble and oil-soluble liquids in this family, it is a dry solid rather than a liquid, and unlike the beverage-cloud emulsion it carries the flavour on a carbohydrate matrix instead of a stabilized oil-in-water system. It is supplied as a free-flowing powder and is manufactured into powder, capsule and tablet dosage formats.
