It parallels tri-creatine malate in its 3:1 stoichiometry but uses a citrate rather than a malate counter-ion, and it differs from the 1:1 nitrate and pyruvate salts and from the hydrated monohydrate. It is manufactured synthetically and supplied as a crystalline powder. It is manufactured in powder and capsule formats.
