Tri-Creatine Citrate

tris(2-[carbamimidoyl(methyl)amino]acetic acid); 2-hydroxypropane-1,2,3-tricarboxylic acid

Tri-creatine citrate is a salt of three creatine molecules with one molecule of citric acid in a 3:1 creatine-to-citric-acid ratio (C18H35N9O13, MW 585.5); no single CAS number is assigned to this material. It parallels tri-creatine malate in its 3:1 stoichiometry but uses a citrate rather than a malate counter-ion, and it differs from the 1:1 nitrate and pyruvate salts and from the hydrated monohydrate. It is manufactured synthetically and supplied as a crystalline powder. It is manufactured in powder and capsule formats.
