A proprietary natural flavour system delivered as an oil-in-water emulsion stabilized with gum acacia and a weighting agent, standardized for both flavour load and cloud or turbidity, with no single defined molecule or CAS number. It is produced by emulsifying the flavour oil phase into an aqueous gum acacia phase to give a stable two-phase cloud system. Unlike the clear water-soluble liquid or the neat oil-soluble liquid, it is a pre-emulsified system that contributes visual cloud in addition to flavour, and unlike the spray-dried powder it is supplied wet rather than dry. It is supplied as an oil-in-water emulsion and is manufactured into liquid and gummy dosage formats.
