Potassium Chloride

Potassium chloride

Potassium chloride is the simple inorganic potassium salt of hydrochloric acid (KCl, CAS 7447-40-7), mined directly as the natural mineral sylvite. At roughly 52% potassium by weight it carries the highest elemental load of any form in the potassium range, well above the organic-acid salts such as the citrate (~36%) or gluconate (~17%). Unlike the fermentation-derived citrate and gluconate or the amino-acid aspartate, it is a single-step inorganic salt with no organic ligand, freely water-soluble and pH-neutral rather than alkaline. We supply it as a crystalline powder for tablets, capsules, powders and liquid formats.
