Strontium citrate (1:1)

Strontium citrate at CAS 813-97-8 is the 1:1 strontium salt of citric acid, strontium hydrogen citrate (C6H6O7Sr, MW 277.73), in which one divalent strontium ion neutralises two of the three citric-acid carboxyls. It carries about 32% elemental strontium, below the dense carbonate but above the gluconate, and as an organic-acid salt it is more water-soluble than the carbonate.
