Erythritol (Powder / Confectioners) is the same meso-erythritol (1,2,3,4-butanetetrol; CAS 149-32-6, EC 205-737-3; C4H10O4, MW 122.12) as the granular grade, a fermentation-derived four-carbon polyol standardized to typically >=99.5% erythritol. It differs from the granular grade only physically: the crystals are milled to a fine confectioners powder, giving a lower particle size and higher surface area for even dry-blend distribution and direct compression. Chemically it is identical to the granular material and, unlike the erythritol-stevia and erythritol-monk-fruit blends, it contains no high-intensity co-sweetener. It functions as a bulk sweetener and free-flowing bulking agent, and we manufacture it into powders, tablets and capsules.
