Sodium metavanadate is the sodium salt of metavanadic acid (CAS 13718-26-8; NaVO3, MW 121.93), a soluble inorganic vanadium source in which the vanadium is in the fully oxidised +5 (vanadate) state. At about 42% vanadium it is the most vanadium-dense form covered here, above the +4 vanadyl sulfate and well above the organic vanadium complexes. It is a pale-yellow water-soluble powder. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets and powder blends.
