Cranberry Whole-Fruit Powder (Pacran) is a branded Givaudan/Naturex material made from the whole American cranberry fruit (Vaccinium macrocarpon), including juice, flesh, skin and seeds. It is a whole-fruit powder rather than an enriched extract, and its proanthocyanidin content is standardized to soluble PACs (approximately 0.5%) by the BL-DMAC method rather than the UV method used for the concentrated extract grade. This lower marker figure reflects the retained full-fruit matrix, which distinguishes it from the 36% PAC extract and from the 34:1 concentrate. It is supplied as a dry powder. We manufacture it in capsules, tablets and bulk powder.
