GMO status statement
A GMO statement records the genetically-modified-organism status of the ingredients in a product, so a brand can make an accurate on-pack claim and meet the disclosure rules of its market.
What a GMO statement contains
The GMO status of each relevant ingredient
The basis of that status, from supplier declaration and/or testing
Reference to the applicable market regulation
When you get it
Issued on request, per product. We state the status supported by ingredient documentation, we never label a product "non-GMO" unless its ingredients support it.
