Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) root and rhizome processed into a hydroethanolic extract. This grade is standardized by HPLC to 2.5% triterpene glycosides, reported against the 23-epi-26-deoxyactein / 27-deoxyactein marker, the common commercial marker-standardized level. It sits below the family's 5% triterpene glycoside grade in marker concentration and, unlike the native 4:1 and 10:1 ratio concentrates or the unstandardized whole root and rhizome powder, is defined by a fixed HPLC marker percentage rather than an extraction ratio. It is a whole extract rather than an isolated single compound, supplied as a dry powder. We manufacture it in capsules, tablets, and liquids.
