A concentrated seed extract of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) standardized to 80% total silymarin, the seed's flavonolignan complex, assayed by UV/spectrophotometric method. Unlike the whole-seed powder it is solvent-extracted and marker-adjusted to a fixed silymarin percentage, and unlike the ratio-based 10:1 grade it carries a guaranteed marker level rather than an extraction ratio. It differs from the dual-standardized grade in that only total silymarin is fixed, without a separate HPLC specification on the silibinin fraction. This is the industry-standard bulk milk thistle extract, supplied as a fine brown extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, softgel and powder formats.
